Born in Carmel, California, Lara Polachek is a painter and designer whose work explores softness, movement, and natural form through abstract compositions in acrylic and resin. Her creative lens is shaped by the dramatic coastlines of the Pacific, the wide-open landscapes of the American West, and a lifelong connection to art.

After earning a BS in Finance from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Lara spent a decade in finance and technology before returning to her creative roots. She now lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband and two children, where she paints, sculpts light, and builds her evolving studio practice.
